Courses taught by: Stacey Small, L.Ac.
Stacey has been a tree hugging/nature lover for most of her life. She worked for several years as an environmental educator & activist for Greenpeace. She is a Topanga State Park docent and has gone through extensive training & field study of the Santa Monica Mountains. Mother of two budding naturalists, Stacey realizes the urgency of sharing the natural world with young children and instilling in them a deep sense of wonder, gratitude & responsibility.
Stacey is also an acupuncturist and herbalist practicing in Topanga since 2002. She has a holistic family practice, helping adults and children find wellness, balance and connection in their lives.
Stacey was very fortunate to be mentored for several years by Cecilia Garcia, Chumash medicine women. Stacey's interest and understanding of native plant medicine has helped to bridge her two passions; deepening both her practice as a healer and her connection and relationship with plants and the natural environment.
